Surface burner block corroded
It was a very easy fix. I followed the instructions that came with the kit and cut the original cable. Everything you need is in the kit; very few parts. Piece of cake and saved a lot of money an appliance repair person would have charged. This burner works better than the rest. I'm seriously considering replacing the other three blocks.

Blocks were broken
The four kits arrived, use of a pliers and shink wrap and side cutters...strip wires, twist wires connect wire ties, shrink wrap...little fire, plug the elements...done...four in about ten minutes...Instructions in each package...no problem...very easy...saved twice the money or more...Thanks for the parts...recommend this site purchase...parts arrived very timely...J. my drip bowls were old an I was unable to clean them
I took the old drip pans out and replace them with the new ones. Now my stove looks brand new. These were a perfect fit.

Replace drip bowls
I took the old bowls out and dropped the new bowls in. No problem.

The burner stopped heating
Unplugged the old one and plugged in the new, which you sent promptly. No tools. Easiest fix ever.

Broken Surface Burner Stabilizer Clip
My husband broke the cilp in our rental unit when I had the burners out to clean them. It was a piece of cake to install! I just attached the clip with the screw and nut provided. This website was great because it was so easy to find the part. Whirlpool's website had no images of this part and terribly inadequate descriptions. I guess they'd rather I buy a new range... I'll be back if I need appliance parts in the future!

Burner would not heat
Took the old burner out and inserted the new one. The burner was received two days after ordering. I was very satisfied with the service.

old bowls could not be cleaned. These new bowls make the stove look great
Removed old bowls and replaced with the new bowls. Also, thanks for your help with the rang knobs. You did not have the replacement knobs for my range but you gave me help in where I might get them. With the new bowls and knobs the range looks like new. Thanks again for all your help.

Burner stopped heating up.
Searched the internet for the replacement part, placed the order and then disconnected the old one and inserted the new burner prongs into the socket. Worked perfectly!!!

Surface Burner not working
I lifted the stove top and cut the two wire connected to the block. Attached the new wire connectors, new block and checked to make sure it was working. The part that took the longest was getting the screw out of the mounting brracked(it was corroded on). I sprayed some WD40 and waited 5 minuts, it came loose. Then i mounted the new bracket and installed the burner. double checked everything and lowered the top. Done

Burner stopped working. Replaced burner & block.
We read comments by other DIYers and then looked at the video on YouTube. Our range is old and the screw holding the clamp for the block was too tight to remove so we removed the block from the old clamp and left clamp intact. Turned the circuit breaker off. Cut the existing wires and wired the new block to them. Put the block back into the old clamp, put new surface burner in and good as new. My boyfriend and I did it together but I could have done it myself - it was that simple. Thanks PartSelect for quick delivery and excellent DIY info.

rusted drip bowl
remove burner by hand and remove old drip bowl replace with new bowl inspect burner for ware and insert back into slot.
