Glass top stove burner not working
OMG you have no idea how grateful I am. My husband and I watched your how-to-video and decided that it looked pretty easy for us to replace on our own. We saved close to $200 between the flat fee for a service call plus labor. Thank you very much. We were also pleased how fast our part was shipped to us.

Glass top burner would not cycle on and off at lower tempature settings. Burner was on high at all settings.
Kill all power going to cook top.Remove knobs and lift cook top out of opening. Remove screws around outer edge of cook top, and lift glass top off of metal box.You must pry metal inward slightly to release glass top. Be carefull not to damage glass top. Now that top is removed take out two screws that hold switches in place and lift out piece that holds all switches and remove the two screws that hold the bad switch in place. Be careful and make a diagram of how the switch is wired. Remove wires on bad switch and wire to new switch. Wires are kind of short so you have to just pull switch to the side when you remove and replace wires. Make sure new switch is wired like old one. Put switch back in place. Put everything back together in reverse order of removal. Turn power back on and check operation.

It was very easy. Disconnect the electricity. Take the two screws out that hold the top in place. Raise the top and with the pliers change all the electrical connections and retaining bars. Install the two new burned tops. Lower the top and re-install the two retaining screws.

Burned out heating element for radiant heat burner
I watched the video, purchased the correct heating element and did the repair as illustrated in the video. I simply removed the cook top, removed the ground wire, removed the wiring harness, removed the failed heating element, installed the new heating element and reinstalled the wiring. Piece of cake!
