Scratched up grill on stove top
Just needed to replace a scratched up grill on my stove top. The black paint was scratched off and looked horrible. You site made it very easy to find what I needed and it got here in two days. If I had known it was going to be that quick and easy, I would've done it a long time ago! Thanks!

I knocked the knob off the fan control and the stem of the control broke, too.
First I removed 3 screws that held a plate againt the wires. Then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the 2 wires holding the old element and connected them to the new element. Replaced the plate with 3 screws and I was done.

A valve on my cook top went out.
I actually didn't do the repair. I called a service tech, but found it cheaper and faster to order the part myself. It arrived in 2 days. The tech removed the top part of the cook top with a philips screwdriver after that it was easy as unscrewing the valve and replacing it with the new one and tightening it with a wrench. He put the top back on, tightened the screws and that was it.

Worn control panel due to age and use.
Ordered necessary parts from PartSelect and upon arrival removed old parts and installed new parts. Functionality was not changed, but the appearance improvement was fantastic. Now I can be proud of my kitchen appliances and how they appear to guests in my home. The best aspect of my experience was the ease of accessing and using the PartSelect web-site and the exploded schematic(s) that made part identification and order placement a breeze.
