The burner coil had been broken
Just plugged it in! The hardest part was finding the model number. It was inside the top of the stove,while cleaning, I found it-on the left hand side when you take out the burner pans. I searched this site, found the part and when it arrived I just plugged it in and it worked fine. I would say less than 5 minutes to fix this issue.

drip bowl purchased at local store was wrong size
purchased correct part from PartSelect and it fit like a glove!
