The machine will stop during steaming or during a pour and the water light will blick on and off. This can be resumed by turning the steam lever on and off twice, but the pour is lost. This is happening more and more often.

Hello Tim, thank you for getting in touch. Ensure the water tank is completely full and properly locked into place. A loose or empty tank is a common cause for the water light to blink and the machine to stop. Run the hot water function through the steam wand for at least 30 seconds, or until a steady flow of water comes out. Repeat this process several times to force out any trapped air bubbles in the system. Remove and thoroughly clean the shower screen and portafilter with a brush and cleaning solution to remove built-up coffee grounds or scale. We hope this helps.
