This is a genuine replacement steam valve tap assembly sourced directly from the original manufacturer for use with DeLonghi espresso makers. Made from a combination of durable plastic and metal, this part is responsible for delivering steam during operation. It is sold individually, and please note that the O-ring for the connecting tube is sold separately. Replacing this part requires a screwdriver and pliers. For safety, always unplug the unit before beginning any repair. To install, remove the screws from the back of the machine to slide off the two side panels, then remove the two screws securing the display/control panel. After removing the steamer knob and lifting the panel, disconnect the pin and the tube from the old tap assembly.
