Downdraft fan would not operate with light/fan switch.
Removed old switch, but when I tried to install the new one the round slide on retainers that hold the switch in place were cheaply made and broke. I had to go to the hardware store to find replacement parts. Electric terminals matched correctly and slipped off and on just fine. New switch works great.

The plastic holding the Switch for fan/light broke
A little difficult getting the old retaining washers off of the old part and placing the new washers on the new switch. I ended up using a nutdriver on the retaining nut and hitting it with a hammer. This worked great!! Make sure to record which wire color goes where on the old switch before removing wires. TURN OFF POWER BEFORE!! This is 220V. It can hurt you bad.

Toggle switch was burned
The toggle switch I ordered is a little different then the original one. The original one has three head and one of the head is shared by two circles controlled by the switch. The switch I ordered has 4 head which mean it has two separate circles. I had to short circle the two middle heads to make it work. Other than this, the switch works perfectly!
