Air rachet running at full speed
Removed the screw opposite of the throttle lever. Installed throttle valve with existing spring. The old throttle valve was plastic and disintegrated. It took less than 5 minutes. The rachet now works perfectly.

Received a throttle valve for my Craftsman 3/8" pneumatic ratchet and solved the problem. When air was connected to the ratchet it would burst on wide open with no throttle control.
