Top loader washing machine unbalance fault too often
Unplug power and shut off water. Disconnecthoses. Remove back cover. Loosen harness tie wraps to washer top. Remove two bolts on backside that hold top down. Push top towards front to clear tabs on front. Lift top and move to the side, replace 2 suspension springs on left. Move top to other side for access, replace two suspension springs on the right. Note: replace all four suspension springs as a set. They won’t appear broken, but the spring rate tension has become too soft over time and that’s why the suspension system doesn’t work right. Resulting in unbalanced faults all the time. Even when washer is empty during clean cycle. Adjust washer feet so wash tub is center in the circle of the top assembly. Put it back together. Connect water lines (or replace them if they are >5 years old). Plug in power. Turn on water valves.
