Product Description

This magnetic door plunger is a genuine replacement component designed to keep the washing machine door slightly ajar when not in use. By allowing air circulation, it helps the inner door and tub seal dry thoroughly, reducing the risk of mold and mildew buildup. If the washer door fails to close properly, the plunger may be damaged and require replacement. The part includes a plastic housing and spring mechanism, and installs easily by aligning the tabs with the slots on the inner door panel and snapping it into place. No tools are required, but power should be disconnected before installation. Sold individually

Door plunger tab broke and fell off.
This part worked perfectly. The repair did not require any tools and took approximately 2 minutes to fix, including the time of open the package and read the instructions. The spring and plunger just snap into place. Just align the tabs and press into place. Door fixed!
