Does this part also tell the machine that the water level is down to allow for final spin ? Currently the machine goes thru the entire wash but when the machine goes into the final spin it just rotates slowly and never speeds up

Hello Marty, Thank you for your inquiry. This part senses and controls the water level in the washer and tells the water inlet valve when to turn off. If it is spinning slowly, you may also want to check the washplate/pulsator assembly, the clutch assembly with mode shifter, the stator assembly, and the rotor assembly. Check for any excessive wear and tear on the clutch assembly and you can check the stator and rotor assemblies with a multimeter. Is this the part I want to replace if it’s over filling? On a bulky load the water was literally up to the top of the drum and spilling over. Thankfully I caught it.

Hi Adam, thank you for contacting us. We have researched the model, and it seems that the issue is with the water level pressure switch, part number FIX3529177. It senses and controls the water level in the washer. If the washer is overflowing or continuously filling with water, the water level switch might be faulty.
