Tub did not drain or spin.
We watched the excellent video and my husband put the new water pump kit in. It worked perfectly. We couldn't be happier as it would have cost a whole lot more to have a repair man come the distance to our house.

Pump was not moving water from drum to discharge line.
I had previously taken the old pump and filter out while waiting for new part to arrive. Installed in about 10 minutes. Piece of cake/just a walk in the park to replace.

major difficulty putting the drain hose from the loader onto the pump. The clamp is a beast to sqeeze together while maneuvering it iver the hose and pump inlet shaft
The new pump had grommets on them already even tho they give you new ones. I unscrewed the front screw of the pump from the chassis and put a towel under the hoses carefully. I then disconnected the hose clamps from the pump. It is real easy. In reverse order you start with the drain hose which was difficult, followed by the return drain hose(easy installation), followed by inserting the pump into the grommet holes and screwing the pump to chassis.

Drain pump failed
As noted elsewhere, the hardest part was removing the two hose spring clamps and reinstalling the hose spring clamps. It was easier to access the spring clamps by first unmounting the pump so that it could be turned to make the clamps more accessible. I did not re-install the spring clamps but rather used stainless steel screw-type clamps from an auto parts store. The best tip I read and used was to use a wet/dry shop vac to suck out all the water by attaching it to the discharge tube where it drains into the laundry tub. Lastly, I did not need to modify the wire connector on the new pump.
