Washer would not start and lock door would not engage
Issues: The hinge is very sloppy so two things happened. One the door strike was broken. Two the door close switch had been broken off. The hinge is easy two screws and your done! I removed the whole door switch / lock assembly (not easy), but I don't think you need too. The switch post that normally is visible was broken off. I threaded the open hole of what was left of the switch post with a 3mm tap, and inserted a 3mm screw. Whats nice is I feel its stronger and now adjustable. MacGyver at its best!

Broken door latch
Unplug washer. Remove 2 screws from door holding latch in place. Remove broken latch and re-install screws. [ 2 minutes ] A piece broken from latch was left in door latch electric interlock mechanism mounted behind rubber "boot" of door opening. It would not come out with a vacuum. So, remove 3 screws holding the interlock. Around the boot is a wire ring with a "tension spring". Using vice grips and screwdriver expand the spring and take off ring - CAUTION - DO NOT DAMAGE BOOT OR YOU WILL HAVE A PERMANENT WATER LEAK. GENTLY Pull boot off in ONLY the area around the interlock, and remove interlock by disconnecting 3x screws and 3x wire quick-connect assemblies. Shake out piece of latch. Install wire assemblies and reinstall interlock assembly. Reinstall "boot" and ensure it is properly seated. Reinstall ring using vice grips and screw drive - CAUTION - DO NOT DAMAGE BOOT OR YOU WILL HAVE WATER LEAK. Inspect interlock with flash-light. Plug in washer. The door would not close like normal, and lock properly - which I resolved with a VERY hard slam. Once door closed properly the first time, it worked as normal. There are videos on YOUTUBE that are very helpful.
