This washer completes cycles but than just cycles pump on and off forever unless one turns knob to cycles.

Hello Larry, Thank you for the question. This can indicate an issue with the Water Valve. The drain pump needs to continue running until the water left in the drum is drained out. We suggest turning the water supply off at the end of the cycle to see if this stops the pump. If so, the valve is still sending water into the tub and may need to be replaced. If the pump still continues to run, we suggest removing the pump and drain lines and check for a blockage or clog slowing the water from draining completely.
