Broken Glass in wall mounted Kitchen Aid Oven - any of the inside 3 glasses (there are 4 in total)
Remove door - biggest trick of the process 1-Open the door 2- At each of the hinges there is a small clip that rotates on the same axis as the hinge. Rotate them both out towards the room 3- Close the door to about 6 inches from being fully closed. This is as far as it goes with the clips rotated. 4- lift the door, rotate it closed slig htly further and pull it straight away from the oven. 5- lay the oven door outside up on a work table covered with cardboard or towels. 6-Remove 2 screws and two clips they are holding from bottom of door. 7-Remove remaining screws from around perimeter and oven side of door 8- Slide front of door down 1/4 inch and remove from remainder of door. 9-Remove 2 screws from bottom and 3 from top of first glass frame pieces. All of the screws up to this point are the same, these screws are different, Keep them separate. 10- Remove the frame strip at the bottom of the glass (just the first one they are two deep) 11- slip the glass down out of the clips on the top corners and out. 12- Remove the second frame strip and slide the next glass down out of the retaining slots at the top 13- Remove the hinges, keep right an left separate, they are slightly different and the screws won't all go back in if they are mixed. 14- Remove the inner panel carefully so as not to tear the glass insulation unnecessarily. 15- The last glass should now lift out. 16- Clean all parts as desired, oven cleaner works well on the glass. 17-Reverse the procedure to put it back together replacing the broken glass. 18- Be careful to position the glass insulation back in carfully so that it does not show through the window. 19- Once back together (all screws used) hold the door nearly verticle and put the hinge arms back into the slots in the wall oven. 20-Open the door all the way and rotate the clips back toward the wall to lock the door on the oven.
