A vacuum that loses power or works only when moved may have a loose electrical connection. This replacement terminal block holds several internal wires in their correct positions and provides a firm path for electrical current. Inspect it for melted plastic, dark marks, broken mounting points, or terminals that no longer grip securely. Similar symptoms can come from a damaged power cord, weak battery, faulty switch, or worn motor. Disconnect the cord and remove all batteries before service. Handle wires by their connectors, not by pulling on the insulation. Match every connection to the wiring diagram and replace all protective covers before testing the vacuum.
