This is an authentic OEM part for use with Weed Eater, Poulan, Husqvarna, Paramount Line Trimmers. The reed valve helps control air movement in or out of the cylinder. This part is sold individually. The most common reasons for replacing the reed valve is if the air mixture is incorrect, the engine is running lean, the air intake is noisy. Or the engine is running poorly. The tools that you will need to replace the reed valve is a receptacle for draining fuel, Phillip's / Torx drivers and long-nosed pliers
