Product Description

A loose or broken spool cap can allow the line spool to shift during trimming. This replacement cover closes the bottom of the trimmer head and helps protect the spool and line from contact with yard debris. Check the cover for cracks, worn edges, or damaged clips if it will not stay attached. Also inspect the spool, spring, and head housing because damage to those pieces may prevent a secure fit or proper line movement. Turn off the trimmer and remove its battery before touching the cutting head. Clear away packed grass, seat the spool correctly, and make sure every cover tab clicks into position before use.
