Product Description

A loose spool or damaged cutting head may be caused by a broken retainer cap. This replacement cap secures the line spool inside the trimmer head and helps keep the assembly together as it turns. Replace the cap if its tabs are cracked, worn, or unable to lock. Confirm the complete equipment model because caps with similar shapes may use different mounting points. Before service, switch off the trimmer and remove its battery or power cord. Wait for the head to stop, wear gloves, and clean debris from the spool area. Check that the cap is fully seated before starting the trimmer.
