The recoil starter engages the flywheel to spin and start the engine. The most common reason for replacing the flywheel is if the engine will not start or runs roughly. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the flywheel a T-25 Torx head screwdriver, crescent wrench, mallet, clutch tool, 8 mm socket. Let the engine cool and disconnect the spark plug wire before installing this part.
