This is an authentic product that is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for Murray string trimmers. The height guide is the bottom of the cutting head and prevents the cutting disc assembly from contacting the ground. This height guide is made of durable material and is available as an individual replacement part. Make sure to refer to the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Note, the hardware to secure it is sold separately.
