Product Description

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement carburetor assembly. It is designed for use with gas powered trimmers. The purpose of this part is to mix air and gas before the fuel mix goes to the engine. This kit includes a metal body carburetor, gasket, two (2) fuel lines and an in tank fuel filter. Please note, choke levers and plate are sold separately. If the engine starts and then quickly dies, the carburetor is likely the problem. To test the carburetor remove the air filter and pour about a teaspoon of fuel into the carburetor. Pull the starter rope. If it dies off almost immediately replacing carburetor might resolve the issue. To complete this repair you would need a screwdriver. • Remove air box cover, filter and the base • Disconnect fuel lines and remove old carburetor • Install new carburetor and re-connect fuel lines • Re-assemble and test the unit
