What is the left hand thread pitch of the spindle?

How do I remove the spindle
For model number DCST922
Hello Robert, thanks for your question! To replace the old spindle, you must remove the cutting head assembly, the actuator and the guard. Above the guard there is a spindle lock plate and then the spindle is housed in the gearcase, which can be opened up by removing screws. Hope this helps!
