This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement switch, not an aftermarket imitation. It is specially designed for a Dewalt laminate trimmer. It is the part of the tool that allows user to turn the tool on and off. Mechanical switches over time will begin to fail requiring replacement. Please note, this plastic item is sold individually. To replace this switch you would need a screwdriver. • Remove the end cap • Disconnect wires from the old switch • Remove the old switch • Place the new switch in the housing • Reassemble and test the unit
