Product Description

The lever assembly, also referred to as a line feeder lever, releases the cutting line from the spool, regulating the amount of line used during the auto-feed action. It is common for this part to break, but it is a simple repair. To install this part, you will start by removing the spool cap, the spool, and then the lever (with a pair of needle nose pliers). The new lever is simply snapped into place.

Lever assembly for Black and Decker trimmer
My trimmer was not feeding line anymore so I read that I should probably replace the lever assembly. I did that and it was very easy to do. However the trimmer is still not feeding line properly. I will try replacing the line next.
