This is a genuine part which is sourced from the original manufacturer for use with Black and Decker and DeWALT trimmers. The metal edge guide connects to the front of the motor housing and is used to indicate the end of the trimmer line or depth of cut. It is an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty component that was included with a new unit. One durable metal edge guide is included. Refer to the owner's manual for your model to ensure the correct application.
