Is Retainer Ring Outer B 585193MA (FIX9035828) the part that turns the snow chute? It looks like it has the notches that align to the turn handle but want to be sure. Thanks!
For model number 536886180
Hello Michael, thank you for reaching out to us. No, the retainer ring outer is not the part that turns the snow chute. It's a clamping ring that sits around the outer flange of the chute assembly, along with the inner ring, to hold the chute down while letting the toothed collar spin freely underneath. The part that meshes with the worm gear on your turn handle is the chute collar / rotate ring, part number 585214YZMA. We hope this information helps!
