Extension Spring

Removed frame cover. Found broken Idler Spring. This is what cause the slipping and clunking noise. also check or replaced as I did.t The Extension Spring is a little harder to get to. At this time clean and oil the part called 7-tooth shaft. This helped shifting speeds. Be careful not to get any oil on the friction wheel or the friction disc. FYI Problems like this will always happen at the wrong time. The web site easy to use but the illustrations and part numbers could be better to read. Need to have clearer zoom and part number to part. Not sure part name like spring-extension or extension-spring. So I purchased both parts. This snow blower easy to use and repair. A simple design.
