This is an authentic OEM sourced component which is specially designed for use with Poulan and Husqvarna snowblowers. The impeller is the component that will shovel the snow. It provides an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty impeller assembly was installed on a new unit. The impeller's welds had failed and the machine was wobbling badly and would not throw the snow out of the chute.
Remove key.
Remove plastic belt cover (two screws)
Remove two screws on sides of rear half of the machine to allow the rear half to pivot back with respect to the front half.
Pivot rear half back partially to expose belts while holding onto snow chute so it doesn't fall.
Set snow chute aside,
Loosen auger belt off from top pulley and tensioner.
Pivot rear half of machine back the rest of the way so it separates from the front half and set the rear half aside.
set auger belt aside.
Block auger with something so it cannot rotate.
Loosen bolt to remove auger pulley (regular right-hand thread)
Set auger pulley and bolt aside.
Remove 4 screws from sides of front half that support the auger shaft.
Set front half face down on flat surface.
Tap back side of auger shaft carefully with soft hammer to push it from bushing.
Remove auger/impeller assembly
Remove two impeller sheer screws.
Remove old impeller.
Install new impeller and reverse above procedure to re-assemble.
Make sure to check and replace any worn bets while you have the machine opened.

Note; the original Husqvarna/Poulan impeller had really thin welds and several of them had broken under normal use. The replacement impeller I bought through this site had much more substantial welds and is a much better part.
