Product Description

This cable-traction is sourced directly from the original equipment manufacturer. It is specially designed for use with Ariens snowblowers. The traction cable engages drive wheels on the equipment. Over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. It is connected to the bail and then attached to the traction bracket near the transmission. Refer to the owner's manual and the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. One durable rubber insulated cable is included.

Bottom half of Clutch cable broke

Remove bottom cover. Disconnect upper cable. Remove broken cable. Connect new lower cable. Feed through hole, making sure to feed through pulley wheel (loosed nut and bolt to facilitate this) Connect cables together. Reconnect cable to the handle. Replace bottom cover. While doing this it is a good time to lubricate.
