It is a genuine replacement item that is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Makita sanders and polishers. The armature is the center component is an electric motor which is at the heart of the tool, over time it may wear out and begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement. If the tool is continuously overloaded then the copper windings may become extremely hot and melt the insulation. Please note this high-quality part is sold individually.
