It is a high-quality part that is supplied by the original manufacturer for Black and Decker and Porter Cable routers. The pin helps to engage the collet in the chuck. It provides an identical replacement for a missing or a faulty hardware that was installed on a new unit. One durable metal pin is included. To ensure the correct application of this component, check the owner's manual and the diagrams of your model. You may need a screwdriver and pliers to remove the old pin and secure the new one. Note, the spring and the spindle lock retainer are both sold separately.
