Product Description

This is a metal spring type cord protector. It is a genuine OEM replacement part for Porter Cable routers. It is attached where the power cord connects to the machine. This strengthens and protects cord from strain while also reducing chance of internal wire damage. This is a fairly simple repair and can be done while replacing a cord. Damaged cords should always be replaced. One (1) cord protector included. Replacement cord sold separately. • Make sure tool is unplugged • Remove the housing • Disconnect cord/wires from router • Slide cord through spring (with wide part towards machine) • Reconnect wires • Reassemble and test router
