ice maker was giving a problem cycleing
turn switch inside freezer door. remove the three screws on icemaker door cover .remove one screw and band behind icemaker that shields the wiring between the icemaker and freezer wall There are 4 clips under the bottom of the Icemaker that releases it so it will slide out. BE SURE TO HOLD BACK THE SMALL PLASTIC DOOR ON THE LEFT SIDE SO YOU WON'T BREAK IT OFF. slide the ice maker back far enough so you can unplug the wiring, once it is unplugged slide the old icemaker out and. turn the old one over and remove the three screws on the under side and discard old ice maker and replace with new one. Reverse procedure to install. NOTE, be sure plug is fully plugged in

Ice maker Stopped making Ice
I followed the online guide to check the optics and run the tests. Everything worked when I did a manual harvest. Determined Thermostat to be faulty. Ordered thermostat from other source and they failed to deliver. rednecked a shortcut using a light switch in the manual harvest TP (don't do this) forgot I left it on and burned out th e thermal fuse. decided to order the whole ice maker from the site. (which I should have done in the first place). came on time. Easy snap in repair job.
