Product Description

The door gasket is used to provide an airtight seal when your fridge door is closed. The gasket is a genuine OEM part that is gray in color and has magnets on all sides to help seal the door. Signs that you may need to replace the gasket is if the door is sweating, or if the door will not open or close properly. If the gasket has become cracked or you are experiencing the above symptoms, you should replace this part.

Does the replacement food seal have the magnetic strip on the bottom edge?

Cracked/deteriorated refrigerator door seal
The door seal purchased from Fix was a perfect fit. Prior to installation I removed the seal from the box and laydown in the sun on my patio so the rubber seal would relax/soften to remove the crease from it (it was folded in the box). Half an hour later I pulled the old seal from the refrigerator door and pushed the new seal into the gro ove. It worked perfect.
