Dispenser stopped dispensing when holding down the pad
First, I removed the pad that was no longer working by sliding it upward until it came loose, followed by pulling it towards myself. Next, I snipped the wires closest to the pad and let them hang for use later on. Then I removed the control panel button assembly by gently pulling down on its lower edge (lip) while prying gently from the f ront, lower corner. (I worked from the lower left corner, but I imagine the lower right would work as well). Once the first tab was loose (there are three in total), I worked on the middle and right tabs along the bottom edge until the control panel assembly came off (pull the bottom edge toward you a little bit and then pull the assembly down, as there are tabs along the top of it). This was the most difficult part of the repair because you can't really see where to pull the control panel away. Finally, with the control panel off, I located the connector for the pad and disconnected it from the control PCB, tied the connector for the new pad to the old wires, then snaked the new pad's wiring and removed the old pad's wiring in the same pull. Lastly, I connected the new pad to the control PCB, gave a quick test, then replaced the control panel by reversing the steps I took to remove it. The replacement pad then goes into the open slot and slides down to lock into place and I was finished.
