How can I verify the inverter board is bad? I unplugged to clean coils after freezer wasn’t cooling and after plugging back in I the red light on the inverter board comes on for a few seconds and I hear a couple of clicks coming from the main board but the red light stays off and the compressor never kicks on.

Thank you for your question. For control boards like an inverter board, you will need to check them for signs of arcing, burnt connections, damaged foil wear or other damage. If there is a clicking sound coming from the inverter board, the board is faulty and it will need to be replaced. The part number listed under your model number for the inverter board is FIX4167963. Does this board control the compressor on/off. I have no power to compressor but test show compressor should be good with meter readings 8 to 8.8 ohms
