Is this ice maker assembly hard to install

Ice maker keeps freezing up and won’t dispense ice

Hello John, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, we would recommend checking the defrost heater, part number FIX9603661. A faulty defrost heater might be allowing excessive frost to build up on the evaporator coils and in the ice maker area itself. This lack of proper, regular defrosting leads to both the ice maker freezing up and the inability to dispense ice. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
