interior light goes on an off with doors closed
remove 1 screw to remove switch cover. Push old switch out , push new switch into cover, push wire connector into new switch, replace cover and screw. New switches did not solve problem; need help to determine cause of problem.

Refrigerator lights inside would not turn off with doors closed
The refrigerator lights would not turn off with the doors closed. The light bulbs became extremely hot and melted the light cover, housing, and wiring. Found out that the one of door switches went bad. Removed all of the bad components (switches and melted lamp assemblies) Replaced "both" of the door switches and all of the lamp assembl ies with the new components. Made sure light turns off with both switch acuations. The repair was very easy. Make sure to unplug the refrigerator before working on electrical components.
