This part is electric controlled by the temp sliding switch?

I checked the evaporations fan because I am getting a rattling noise coming from the diffuser. The fan was fine. The ice maker works fine the temp in freezer is fine, the refrigerator switch is set at 1 and the cold air keeps entering the fridge section. All coils are clean and the air vents are not blocked. I have not checked the bi-metal sensor in the freezer. according to your troubleshooting tips it does not effect if the refrigerator temp is very cold. Help!

Hello Carmen, Thank you for the question. If the Rattle is coming from the Air Diffuser and the Fresh Food Section is too cold, we suggest replace the Air Diffuser. It could be stuck open and allowing too much air through. We hope this helps!
