Water was not entering the icemaker tray
I initially replaced the water inlet valve, but that did not correct the problem. Replacing the icemaker control did. I removed the icemaker assembly by unscrewing the 3 nuts with a socket wrench and unplugging the icemaker assembly. I snapped off the white end piece, unscrewed the 3 screws, & removed the old icemaker control. I installed the new unit with a Phillips screwdriver, replaced the icemaker, plugged it in, and tightened the 3 bracing screws. The unit began making ice in one hour.

Ice maker was not making ice
The website diagnosed this part was the most failed part for making ice. Ordered the part watched the video from the website and it was a snap to replace. When I first replaced the control assembly the ice maker didnt cycle right away, but after 30 mins or so it began making ice again. Quick easy fix and Sears should change their repair service to Replace Service. I had them come out paid them 99 bucks to tell me the ice maker wasn't working , duh, and then told me 300 bucks to replace it. Guess i should have go on the web first.

Ice maker stopped making ice
The troubleshooting tips from this site helped me select the part and their service guide helped. To get the correct dis-assembly/assembly instructions I went to the SEARS web site. SEAR does not help with troubleshooting. Between the two my ice maker is now working again!
