Ice maker stopped working
After watching some repair videos on YouTube of my model ,I found out what things can cause the issue .so I started to test parts .Mine was the mold thermostat that is housed inside the ice maker itself. Used a ohmmeter to test for continuity which there was none and replaced it .. Now it works perfect..I have no background in appliance r

No ice...
Removed the icemaker....one screw on lower right, two rail clips on right and left, and electrical connector. Removed the bottom cover (two screws?). Disengaged the electrical connector. Separated the timer assembly from the ice mold (three screws through the timer assembly into the ice mold). Found one of the two ice mold heater electric

al connections with the rubber attached had corroded and separated requiring ice mold replacement. Replaced ice mold with new "plumbers putty" around connections. As a "while I have it apart" fix...replaced the thermostat. Re-assembled.
