I am being told I need a new main board for the above mentioned GE Monogram side by side refrigerator freezer. It was manufactured in 2005 and the original schematic shows that this part number is WR55X10383. When I search this on your site, it comes back with a newer part number of WR55X10560 from GE which is then a different part number in your inventory.
IF this is the correct unit, is the replacement 'plug and play'? It appears to be something you literally unmount, unplug a connector, and then remount. Do I need some sort of OBD unit or something to then make the new unit work? Thank you.

Thank you for the great question. This is the correct part number for your model. On occasion manufacturers make slight changes to small components which then means they have to give the part a new part number. Yes this board is how you put it "Plug and Play". We hope this helps.
