Fridge & Freezer not cold enough
Before I replaced the defrost timer & temperature cold control thermostat, I 1st replaced the high % parts that go bad (defrost thermostat & run capacitor) -no luck, so I decided to replace the (2) remaining parts that typically go bad -defrost timer & temperature cold control thermostat. I noticed my model number did not come up exact to the models on the site here, but all of the parts I ordered were almost identical to the ones replaced. This is an easy repair: disconnect power, remove items from the fridge and the top shelf. remove the plastic cover that houses the light, thermostat, and timer -there are (4) small screws that you can easily remove with a small socket driver. Once the screws are removed, the unit will hang down and you can unplug the main wiring harness to remove the whole cover and its contents from the fridge. The back of the cover fits snug to the underside of the freezer (this is where the cold air for the fridge comes from). The thermostat sits in a housing w/ (3) electrical wire connectors that need to be unplugged, along with the thermostat control knob. Once these are all disconnected, the thermostat can come out of the housing, along with the integral wire that runs along the housing towards the back of the cover. You will also need to gently remove the small piece of insulation in the back of the cover to properly remove and install the new thermostat wire. There was a plastic sleeve on my old thermostat wire, I simply slid this off and put over the new wire. Put the new thermostat control back in (make sure this is not put in upside down -there is an "off" setting on the dial -you can hear it click once the dial reaches it) and fit the new wire back in along the cover where it was sitting originally along with insulation. Defrost timer is held in place with small screws -simply remove screws and replace with new timer. Plug in the wire harness, reinstall cover, shelf, plug in and turn control dial so fridge will cool off. This make take 12-24 hours.

NOT DEFROSTING-EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE THERMOSTAT
Followed videos on this site-even though not for this particular model. Only difficulty was with the heater clips (on bottom of the heater "wire"--needed the needle nose pliers and a screwdriver to extract the tab from the slot--and to reinsert the tab in the slot after installing the new heater. The connector is similar to a plastic cable tie, except it is metal--and the metal fins on the "condenser"?? had to me bent to work--and to avoid getting cut by the fins.
