NOT DEFROSTING-EVEN AFTER REPLACING THE THERMOSTAT
Followed videos on this site-even though not for this particular model. Only difficulty was with the heater clips (on bottom of the heater "wire"--needed the needle nose pliers and a screwdriver to extract the tab from the slot--and to reinsert the tab in the slot after installing the new heater. The connector is similar to a plastic ca ble tie, except it is metal--and the metal fins on the "condenser"?? had to me bent to work--and to avoid getting cut by the fins.
