This ice container assembly is a genuine OEM replacement part for your refrigerator. This kit includes the container that holds the ice, along with the auger and blades. Replacing this assembly is an easy repair that does not require any tools. First turn the ice maker off, then remove the old container from the freezer. Line up the connector with the auger yoke, then slide the new container into place. The ice maker can be turned back on, and you will be all set.
