Ice maker and Water would not work
I took the water/ice tray out, unscrewed the two screws and removed the plate on the front of the Freezer door. just slide up and it comes off. Replaced the part and put back together. A pair man quoted me $300.00 for replacement of control panel. All that was need was the strip part.

No power to ice maker and water dispencer
Unplugged refrigerator. Removed dispencer tray. Removed 3 Phillips screw. Gently push up on dispencer cover. Removed Ribbon Cable Harness from dispencer switch board. Turned over cover and push upon the plastic tab to release the ribbon. Take new ribbon insert into plastic tab, press down on tab make sure ribbon is secure in the tab. Take other end of ribbon and insert into dispencer switch board (make sure you insert the ribbon with the arrow side up) slide cover back on. Put back the 3 Phillips screws and tray. Plug in refrigerator. Check to see if ice and water dispencer are working.

ice maker keeps dispensing ice
The repair did not work. It appears to be another part that is bad. Will look into this further and see what it might be and order that part.
