I have received two parts to replace my lower door cam on my white kenmore refrigerator, model 253.74822408. The parts were recommended from fix.com in an email reply to me. I looked for videos on your website to help me with the changing out the replacement parts. Most the videos I found do not look like my fridge or parts, or does not cover how to change the very bottom door cam and pin on the fridge door. (Found a video to change the pin on the freezer door, but that didn't help. The pin sent to me is white plastic, but the pins in the videos are all metal. Full disclosure, I am a bit confused as the white plastic part doesn't fit into the hole on the bottom of my fridge door. The current metal pin is pushed way up in the door and not sure how to get it out. I have pictures and can send along if needed.
Many thanks in advance.

This is stupid but diy's take heed. problem- frig door large knock when opening. I looked up on internet and the sites said it was due to a damaged or broken hinge pin--even showed on utube. I had a handyman come in for something else so asked him to look at it. Easy he said, I've seen this before--give me windex and a rag---the door gasket is sticking making it sound like bottles on door shelf moving. He cleaned it off and no more noise from the frig. I feel stupid that I didn't notice but if anybody else sees this, please look at the door seal--save yourself $ maybe.
