How do you install part number FIX12746820? Would the part come with instructions?

Hello Diane, thank you for getting in touch. According to our research, the part does not come with the installation instructions. We have found the installation instructions for the defrost thermostat. These instructions may not be for the exact model but will help you. First, unplug the appliance and remove the basket and shelves. Remove the knob from the evaporator cover. Remove the diverter by un-threading the screws. Then remove the evaporator cover and the parts behind it, if necessary. And then remove the air tower kit to access the defrost thermostat. Once you get access to the defrost thermostat, then remove it and follow back the same steps to install a new one. We hope this information is useful!
