Ice maker stopped making ice
Loosened 2 screws on left side freezer wall. Disconnected wire harness. Took out ice maker. Made sure screws extended far enough out to fit the new ice maker over them. Connected the wire harness. Put ice maker onto the 2 screws. Tightened the screws. Within a few hours we had ice. NOTE: use a mirror or you will fish blindly trying to find and tighten the screws. With the mirror, it was easy.

water flow was slow, ice maker wasn't making ice.
When the ice maker wasn't making any ice, I said this refrigerator is not that all for this to happened, give credit where is due, I turned to Youtube and research on how to repair the system, the technicians explained how to repair very simple, gave me the information on how to order the parts, ordered the parts and save myself a few hundreds dollars. My refrigerator is working as good as new for another few years. Customer service was very helpful, they ask me for the model # explain what I need it and in two days I received the parts. Thank You very much and Happy Holidays.

Ice make just stopped making ice
Other customer's instructions cover this one well. The new ice maker kit came with a longer cable than the original, and the cable had a white plastic decorative hole cover one the cable that I did not need for my installation. I carefully cut the plastic with a pair of tin snips to remove it from the cable (don't cut any wires!) During installation, I routed the cable in an arc upwards between the ice maker and the wall of the freezer to accommodate the extra few inches of length. The hardest part of this job was clearing off the shelf under the ice maker. Have a beach towel ready to shove in under the old ice maker as it comes out to catch any water left in it. None of my food thawed and everything was back together in less than 30 minutes. Making ice within the hour. Very easy.

Ice maker stopped producing.
Remove ice bucket. Without removing mounting screws, loosen the 2 mounting screws about 2-3 rotations with nut driver located on the top left of the ice maker. Gently life ice maker a fraction of an inch to remove from hanging on the mounting screws. Unplug ice maker. Remove small mounting bracket on original ice maker, noting position. Install mounting bracket in the same position on the new ice maker. Plug in new ice maker. Hang new ice maker on mounting screws. Tighten mounting screws. Wait for ice.

Stopped making ice
The video supplied was great, but omitted one important detail. There is a heating element on the underside of the unit. In my case that was hot enough to burn the finger that touched it while removing the failed ice maker. Users should be warned to avoid contact with that or instructed on some way to insure it is not hot before attempting to remove the ice maker.

I had broke my ice maker, by not lifting the arm before removing the ice tub. so don't do that.
Very easy part's change out. 1st you will need a 1/4" nut driver, so just wash and dry your new part before installing then remove 2 - 1/4" machine screws. Pull electric wires gently down and squeeze sides of connector to "unplug. reverse process to install. The only pointer is make sure you look at the back of unit before you start to see that the water trough is over the top of lip of your new ice maker. And I did not turn off the fridge. to do this but you might want to.
